Over 14 seasons, he started 160 games, won 72 games, struck out 765 batters, and had a 3.88 ERA. Born on November 25, 1895 in Youngsville, NC (All Transactions), May stood 5' 8" and weighed 178 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on June 26, 1917 and he played his final game on September 25, 1932. Over his career, May made $6,500. Common misspellings of his name include Frank jacob jake Jakie Spruiell May.
