Retired American football quarterback, Jake Plummer was born on December 19, 1974 in Boise, Idaho.
Plummer had attended Capital High School and Arizona State University. In his early exposure on the sport, he was able to pass for 6,097 yards and 68 touchdowns. He had also run foe over 600 yards and powerfully made 10 touchdowns. Plummer had led the Capital Eagles to a state high school football title in 1991 where they defeated the Twin Falls Bruins during the championship game. He was first drafted by the Arizona Cardinals during the second round of the 1997 National football League Draft leading to the recognition of Jake Plummer autographed (red) (cards) jersey. He had his first appearance in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles where he recorded 15 touchdown passes and 15 interceptions. It was in 1998 when Plummer was able to throw for 3,737 yards and 17 powerful touchdowns. However, in 1999, he suffered from a sprained thumb leading to a broken finger. During this season, he was only able to accomplish 2,111 passing yards, 9 touchdown passes and 24 interceptions.
His best season then came on 2001 where he was able to pass for 3,653 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. He then signed as a free agent to the Denver Broncos on 2003.
