Jake Flowers (full name: D'Arcy Raymond Flowers; no nicknames) played second baseman, shortstop and third baseman from 1932 until 1934 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Cardinals in 1932, Dodgers in 1933 and Reds in 1934. Over 10 seasons, he played 583 games, hit 16 home runs, drove in 229 runs, and stole 58 bases. Born on March 16, 1902 in Cambridge, MD, Flowers stood 5' 11" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 7, 1923 and he played his final game on August 2, 1934.
