About Jack Youngblood Memorabilia & Collectibles
Former American football defensive end, Jack Youngblood has played for the Los Angeles Rams. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 26, 1950.
Youngblood was studying at the University of Florida when he was drafted by the Rams during the first round of the National Football League Draft in 1971. He was then chosen as an All-Pro for five powerful times and was also an All-NFC seven times leading to the Jack Youngblood signed Rams Logo Fotoball football as a recognition. Youngblood is well-known for playing in the playoffs in 1979 to 1980 with a fractured left fibula. He was also able to play in 201 consecutive games. Youngblood also became the Rams’ defensive captain and had won the Dan Reeves award three times.
He showed great performances in each of his game and he was honored in the St. Louis Rams Ring of Fame, NFC Defensive Player of the Year in 1975 and Pro Football Weekly has hailed him as the NFL defensive lineman of the year. After he retired from playing football, he decided to work in Player relations and Marketing for the Los Angeles Rams in 1985 to 1991.
