Jack Kramer (full name: John Henry Kramer; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1939 until 1951 for the St. Louis Browns, Boston Red Sox, New York Giants and New York Yankees. He played for the Browns from 1939 - 1947, Red Sox from 1948 - 1949, Giants from 1950 - 1951 and Yankees in 1951. Over 12 seasons, he started 215 games, won 95 games, struck out 613 batters, and had a 4.24 ERA. Born on January 5, 1918 in New Orleans, LA, Kramer stood 6' 2" and weighed 190 lb. He attended Peters (New Orleans, LA) high school. His debut was on April 25, 1939 and he played his final game on August 22, 1951.
