Jack Hallett (full name: Jack Price Hallett; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1940 until 1948 for the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Giants. He played for the White Sox from 1940 - 1941, Pirates from 1942 - 1946 and Giants in 1948. Over 6 seasons, he started 24 games, won 12 games, struck out 128 batters, and had a 4.05 ERA. Born on November 13, 1914 in Toledo, OH (All Transactions), Hallett stood 6' 4" and weighed 215 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 13, 1940 and he played his final game on April 29, 1948. Common misspellings of his name include Jack jach Jack jakie joe Price Hallett.
