About Jack Fisher:
Jack Fisher (full name: John Howard Fisher; Fat Jack) played pitcher from 1959 until 1969 for the Baltimore Orioles, San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Orioles from 1959 - 1962, Giants in 1963, Mets from 1964 - 1967, White Sox in 1968 and Reds in 1969. Over 11 seasons, he started 265 games, won 86 games, struck out 1017 batters, and had a 4.06 ERA. Born on March 4, 1939 in Frostburg, MD, Fisher stands 6' 2" and weighs 215 lb. He attended Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA) high school. His debut was on April 14, 1959 and he played his final game on September 26, 1969. Over his career, Fisher made $128,000. Common misspellings of his name include Fat John Howard jach Jack jakie joe Fisher.
