About J.J. Hardy Memorabilia & Collectibles

 J.J. Hardy is presently playing for the Minnesota Twins in the Major League Baseball. He is a shortstop and has been playing in the league since 2005. Hardy is from Tucson, Arizona and went to Sabino High School where he started playing baseball. He was selected as an All-State in 1999 to 2001. He played in the 2001 U.S. Junior National team in Edmonton, Canada where he helped the team get the silver medal.

 

Hardy was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers during the 2001 MLB Draft and played in the minors before being called up to the majors in 2005. He was able to take part in the U.S. Olympic Qualifying team and was able to play in the All-Star Futures 2003. After suffering a shoulder injury in 2004, Hardy was able to earn a starting spot in the Brewers roster as their shortstop.

 

During the 2006 season, he suffered an ankle injury and had to get surgery by the end of that season. However, he was able to bounce back up in the 2007 season and was named to the MLB All-Star Game as a reserve. He was able to make an appearance during the ninth inning.

 

Hardy was named as the NL Player of the Week in July 7, 2008 and was traded to the Minnesota Twins in 2009.
