J.J. Daigneault (full name: J.J. Daigneault; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1985 until 2001 for the Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, New York Islanders, Nashville Predators, Phoenix Coyotes and Minnesota Wild. He played for the Canucks from 1985 - 1986, Flyers from 1987 - 1988, Canadies from 1990 - 1996, Blues in 1996, Penguins from 1996 - 1997, Mighty Ducks from 1997 - 1998, Islanders in 1998, Predators in 1999, Coyotes from 1999 - 2000 and Wild in 2001. Over 16 seasons, he played 899 games, scored 53 goals, and made 197 assists. Born in Montreal, Quebec on October 12, 1965, Daigneault stands 5-10 and weighs 192 lbs. He was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1st round (10th overall) of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
