Ival Goodman (full name: Ival Richard Goodman; Goodie and Ol' Mate) played rightfielder from 1935 until 1944 for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs. He played for the Reds from 1935 - 1942 and Cubs from 1943 - 1944. Over 10 seasons, he played 1107 games, hit 95 home runs, drove in 609 runs, and stole 49 bases. Born on July 23, 1908 in Northview, MO (All Transactions), Goodman stood 5' 11" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 16, 1935 and he played his final game on August 23, 1944. Common misspellings of his name include Goodie Ival Ol' Ival Mate Richard Goodman.
