Hunter Pence is a right fielder for the Houston Astros in the Major League Baseball. Pence is a right-handed player and was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He went to Arlington High School and was a shortstop for his school’s baseball team. It was when he played in college that Pence started to play as an outfielder. Pence went to the University of Texas at Arlington.
After graduating from Texas, Pence became part of the 2004 MLB draft and was selected by the Houston Astros. Pence started out his professional career playing for the minor league affiliates of the Astros and was with the Corpus Christi Hooks during the 2006 season.
