Hugh McElhenny (fullname: Hugh Edward McElhenny Jr.; no nicknames) played from 1952 until 1964 for the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants and Detroit Lions. He played 143 games, starting 20 of those. Born in Los Angeles, CA on December 31, 1928, McElhenny stands 6'1 and weighs 195 lbs. He attended college at Washington. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1st round (9th overall) of the 1952 NFL Draft. McElhenny was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1970.
