Hub Walker (full name: Harvey Willos Walker; no nicknames) played centerfielder from 1931 until 1945 for the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Tigers from 1931 - 1945 and Reds from 1936 - 1937. Over 5 seasons, he played 297 games, hit 5 home runs, drove in 117 runs, and stole 26 bases. Born on August 17, 1906 in Gulfport, MS, Walker stood 5' 10" and weighed 175 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 15, 1931 and he played his final game on September 30, 1945.
