Howie Long (fullname: Howard Michael Long; no nicknames) played from 1981 until 1993 for the Oakland Raiders. He played 179 games, starting 152 of those. Born in Somerville, MA on January 6, 1960, Long stands 6'5 and weighs 268 lbs. He attended college at Villanova. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 2nd round (48th overall) of the 1981 NFL Draft. Long was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000, finalist in 1999.
