Hot Rod Williams (full name: John Williams; Hot Rod) played Forward-Center from 1987 until 1999 for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks. Over 13 seasons, he played 887 games, scored 9784 points (11.0 ppg) and grabbed 5998 rebounds (6.8 rpg). Williams also dished out 1592 assists (1.8 apg), made 746 steals (0.8 spg), and blocked 1456 shots (1.6 bpg) during his career. Born in Sorrento, Louisiana on August 9, 1962, Williams stands 6-11 and weighs 215 lbs. He attended high school at Saint Amant in Saint Amant, Louisiana and college at Tulane University. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2nd round (21st pick, 45th overall) of the 1985 NBA draft.
