Horacio Ramirez is an American professional baseball player, who hails from Carson, California. Ramirez had his high school education at Inglewood High School in Inglewood, California. Ramirez is currently signed as free agent for the pitcher for the San Francisco Giants, positioned as pitcher. Ramirez began his professional baseball career in the Major League Baseball when he was drafted on June 3, 1997 by the Atlanta Braves in the 1997 amateur draft. He was the 5th round pick of the team. Ramirez made his professional debut in the major leagues for the Atlanta Braves on April 2, 2003. Recently, in February 1, 2010, Ramirez signed a minor league deal with the San Francisco Giants.
