Horacio Pina (full name: Horacio (Garcia) Pina; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1968 until 1978 for the Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators, Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics, Chicago Cubs, California Angels and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Indians from 1968 - 1969, Senators from 1970 - 1971, Rangers in 1972, Athletics in 1973, Cubs in 1974, Angels in 1974 and Phillies in 1978. Over 8 seasons, he started 7 games, won 23 games, struck out 278 batters, and had a 3.25 ERA. Born on March 12, 1945 in Matamoros, Coahuila, Mexico (All Transactions), Pina stands 6' 2" and weighs 177 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on August 14, 1968 and he played his final game on October 1, 1978. Over his career, Pina made $113,500. Common misspellings of his name include Horacio (Garcia) Horacio Pina.
