Homer Peel (full name: Homer Hefner Peel; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1933 until 1934 for the New York Giants. He played for the Giants from 1933 - 1934. Over 5 seasons, he played 186 games, hit 2 home runs, drove in 48 runs, and stole 1 bases. Born on October 10, 1902 in Fort Sullivan, TX, Peel stood 5' 9" and weighed 170 lb. He attended Yoe (Cameron, TX) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on September 13, 1927 and he played his final game on June 25, 1934. Common misspellings of his name include Homer Hefner Homer Peel.
