Hod Ford (full name: Horace Hills Ford; no nicknames) played shortstop and second baseman from 1932 until 1933 for the Boston Braves and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Braves from 1932 - 1933 and Cardinals in 1932. Over 15 seasons, he played 1446 games, hit 16 home runs, drove in 484 runs, and stole 21 bases. Born on July 23, 1897 in New Haven, CT, Ford stood 5' 10" and weighed 165 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 8, 1919 and he played his final game on May 8, 1933. Common misspellings of his name include Horace Hills Hod Ford.
