Heinie Manush (full name: Henry Emmett Manush; no nicknames) played leftfielder from 1931 until 1939 for the Washington Senators, Boston Red Sox, Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Senators from 1931 - 1935, Red Sox in 1936, Dodgers from 1937 - 1938 and Pirates from 1938 - 1939. Over 17 seasons, he played 2008 games, hit 110 home runs, drove in 1287 runs, and stole 113 bases. Born on July 20, 1901 in Tuscumbia, AL, Manush stood 6' 1" and weighed 200 lb. He attended Massey Military Academy (Cornersville, TN) high school. His debut was on April 20, 1923 and he played his final game on May 22, 1939.
