Harry Simpson (full name: Harry Leon Simpson; Suitcase and Goody) played rightfielder and first baseman from 1951 until 1959 for the Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Athletics, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Indians from 1951 - 1955, Athletics from 1955 - 1959, Yankees from 1957 - 1958, White Sox in 1959 and Pirates in 1959. Over 8 seasons, he played 888 games, hit 73 home runs, drove in 343 runs, and stole 17 bases. Born on December 3, 1925 in Atlanta, GA, Simpson stood 6' 1" and weighed 180 lb. He attended high school.
