Harold Snepsts (full name: Harold Snepsts; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1975 until 1991 for the Vancouver Canucks, Minnesota North Stars, Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues. He played for the Canucks from 1975 - 1990, North Stars in 1985, Red Wings from 1986 - 1988 and Blues from 1990 - 1991. Over 17 seasons, he played 1033 games, scored 38 goals, and made 195 assists. Born in Edmonton, Alberta on October 24, 1954, Snepsts stands 6-3 and weighs 210 lbs. He was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 4th round (59th overall) of the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft. Snepsts officially announced retirement on June 21, 1991.
