Harlond Clift (full name: Harlond Benton Clift; Darkie) played third baseman from 1934 until 1945 for the St. Louis Browns and Washington Senators. He played for the Browns from 1934 - 1943 and Senators from 1943 - 1945. Over 12 seasons, he played 1582 games, hit 178 home runs, drove in 1070 runs, and stole 69 bases. Born on August 12, 1912 in El Reno, OK (All Transactions), Clift stood 5' 11" and weighed 180 lb. He attended high school.
