Hank Majeski (full name: Henry Majeski; Heeney) played third baseman and second baseman from 1939 until 1955 for the Boston Bees, Boston Braves, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Athletics, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles. He played for the Bees from 1939 - 1940, Braves in 1941, Yankees in 1946, Athletics from 1946 - 1952, White Sox from 1950 - 1951, Indians from 1952 - 1955 and Orioles in 1955. Over 13 seasons, he played 1069 games, hit 57 home runs, drove in 404 runs, and stole 10 bases. Born on December 13, 1916 in Staten Island, NY, Majeski stood 5' 9" and weighed 174 lb. He attended Curtis (Staten Island, NY) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on May 17, 1939 and he played his final game on July 26, 1955.
