Hank Borowy (full name: Henry Ludwig Borowy; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1942 until 1951 for the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers. He played for the Yankees from 1942 - 1945, Cubs from 1945 - 1948, Phillies from 1949 - 1950, Pirates in 1950 and Tigers from 1950 - 1951.
