Henry Louis Aaron better known as Hank Aaron was born on February 5, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama. He was a retired American baseball player and a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
He is famous for setting the Major League record with 755 homeruns in baseball history. He won one World Series ring with the Milwaukee Braves in 1957 and the National League Most Valuable Player Award the same year. Three Gold Glove Awards was Aaron’s achievements and made 24 All-Star appearances.
In his early years, Aaron played outfield and third base in the baseball team in Central High School. His last two years of high school were spent at the Josephine Allen Institute, a private high school in Alabama. He was such a very excellent ballplayer that he was able to play on the Pritchett Athletics, a semi-pro team, as their shortstop and third baseman leading to the recognition of Hank Aaron autographed baseball.
Ed Scott saw him and liked his one of a kind performance as a ballplayer and signed him a contract the Mobile Black Bears for $3 a game. The Boston Braves selected Aarons for a contract of $10,000 on June 14, 1952. The team assigned him to the Eau Claire Bears, a Northern League farm club. He then became the Rookie of the year as the Bears second baseman on that same year. Aaron was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on August 1, 1982 and received votes on 97.8 percent of the ballots and made the Hank Aaron autographed baseball a valuable item to many of his fans.
