Hal White (full name: Harold George White; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1941 until 1954 for the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Browns and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Tigers from 1941 - 1952, Browns in 1953 and Cardinals from 1953 - 1954. Over 12 seasons, he started 67 games, won 46 games, struck out 349 batters, and had a 3.78 ERA. Born on March 18, 1919 in Utica, NY (All Transactions), White stood 5' 10" and weighed 165 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 22, 1941 and he played his final game on May 4, 1954. Common misspellings of his name include Harold George Hal hank White.
