About Hal Reniff Memorabilia & Collectibles


Harold Reniff, born as Harold Eugene Reniff was a former player in the Major League Baseball. He was born on July 2, 1938 and hailed from Warren, Ohio where he started to practice his baseball skills. He started his professional baseball career in the 1961 season after being drafted by the New York Yankees. His first game was recorded on June 8, 1961. Two years after his debut in the league, he recorded the highest number of saves in the New York Yankees system with 18. That year also, he made his first appearance in the World Series which was followed by another World Series play in 1964. He played for the New York Yankees until the 1967 season and has made great contributions for the team. His last season in the league came in 1967 and he spent it with the New York Mets. His final appearance in MLB was on September 3, 1967 for the Mets.

 

Reniff was able to play in seven seasons in the Major League Baseball and logged an ERA of 3.27. He also recorded 0.000 ERA in the World Series for 3.1 innings pitched in one game. He appeared in 276 games in all and recorded 21 wins. He had 23 losses and made 314 strikeouts in his seven seasons in the league.

Over 7 seasons, he played games, won 21 games, struck out 314 batters, and had a 3.27 ERA. Born on July 2, 1938 in Warren, OH, Reniff stood 6' 0" and weighed 215 lb. He attended Chaffey (Chaffey, CA) high school. His debut was on June 8, 1961 and he played his final game on September 3, 1967. Over his career, Reniff made $15,500. Common misspellings of his name include Harold Eugene Hal hank Porky Reniff.
