Hal Griggs (full name: Harold Lloyd Griggs; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1956 until 1959 for the Washington Senators. He played for the Senators from 1956 - 1959. Over 4 seasons, he started 45 games, won 6 games, struck out 172 batters, and had a 5.50 ERA. Born on August 24, 1928 in Shannon, GA (All Transactions), Griggs stood 6' 0" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 18, 1956 and he played his final game on September 25, 1959. Common misspellings of his name include Harold Hal hank Lloyd Griggs.
