Harold Priestley Gill III or simply Hal Gill was born in Concord Massachusetts, USA on April 6, 1975. He is a professional ice hockey player for the team Montreal Canadiens. Before he joined the National Hockey League, he played hockey at Nashoba Regional High School as a quarterback and played for Providence College, too . He weighs 250 lbs and stands 6 ft. 7 in and is a left shooter. He played as part of the team’s defense.
He was drafted in round 8 and ranked 207th overall in the National Hockey League Entry Draft in 1993. He was picked for the team Boston Bruins. During the 1997-1998 season, he was already visible in the NHL and was able to play over 600 games in the regular season. According to reviews, he was also signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs to a three year deal on July 1, 2006. He was then traded to Pittsburgh Penguins in 2008 in the NHL Entry Draft of 2008. He was picked in the fifth round of 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He helped the Penguins reach the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals but unfortunately, the team lost six games. He signed a multi-million deal with the Montreal Canadiens on July 1, 2009.
