Guy Bush (full name: Guy Terrell Bush; The Mississippi Mudcat) played pitcher from 1932 until 1945 for the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Bees, St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Cubs from 1932 - 1934, Pirates from 1935 - 1936, Bees from 1936 - 1937, Cardinals in 1938 and Reds in 1945. Over 17 seasons, he started 308 games, won 176 games, struck out 850 batters, and had a 3.86 ERA. Born on August 23, 1901 in Aberdeen, MS (All Transactions), Bush stood 6' 0" and weighed 175 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 17, 1923 and he played his final game on May 26, 1945. Over his career, Bush made $11,000.
