About Greg Norton: Greg Norton (full name: Gregory Blakemoor Norton; no nicknames) played pinch hitter, third baseman and first baseman from 1996 until 2009 for the Chicago White Sox, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Seattle Mariners and Atlanta Braves. He played for the White Sox from 1996 - 2000, Rockies from 2001 - 2003, Tigers in 2004, Devil Rays from 2006 - 2007, Mariners in 2008 and Braves from 2008 - 2009. Over 13 seasons, he played 1107 games, hit 89 home runs, drove in 315 runs, and stole 15 bases. Born on July 6, 1972 in San Leandro, CA, Norton stands 6' 1" and weighs 190 lb. He attended Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA) high school and was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 2nd round of the 1993 amateur draft. His debut was on August 18, 1996.
