Glenn Robinson, nicknamed “The Big Dog,” is a former professional basketball player of the National Basketball Association where he played as forward for a few teams in the league; the Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers and the San Antonio Spurs. He was born in Gary, Indiana and attended Purdue University where he took his college education and played in college basketball. During his college basketball career, he experienced struggle with his NCAA eligibility resulting in his suspension during his freshmen season.
He was listed at 6 ft. 7 in. and 240 lbs. Robinson turned professional when he was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1994 NBA Draft where he was the 1st overall pick of the team. During his rookie season, he was named Schick Rookie of the Month for two times. And two years after being drafted, Robinson was chosen for the 1996 U. S. Olympic Team. On August 2002, Robinson was dealt by the Bucks to Toni Kukoc and Leon Smith of the Atlanta Hawks. According to sources, Robinson had a notable debut as a Hawks in the seasons’ opening against the New Jersey Nets, in overall in the 2002-02 seasons he had an average of 20 points per game and had an average of 87 percent in the free throws. After a season with the Hawks, Robinson spent his remaining three years with the Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs.

Born in Gary, Indiana on January 10, 1973, Robinson stands 6-7 and weighs 225 lbs. He attended high school at Roosevelt in Gary, Indiana and college at Purdue University. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st round (1st pick, 1st overall) of the 1994 NBA draft.
