Glenn Adams (full name: Glenn Charles Adams; no nicknames) played designated hitter, pinch hitter and outfielder from 1975 until 1982 for the San Francisco Giants, Minnesota Twins and Toronto Blue Jays. He played for the Giants from 1975 - 1976, Twins from 1977 - 1981 and Jays in 1982. Over 8 seasons, he played 661 games, hit 34 home runs, drove in 152 runs, and stole 6 bases. Born on October 4, 1947 in Northbridge, MA, Adams stands 6' 1" and weighs 180 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 1st round (4th pick) of the 1968 amateur draft (January).
