Glen Featherstone was born on July 8, 1968 in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. He went professional after being drafted by the St. Louis Blues during the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. His first game was in 1988. After the Blues, Featherstone also played for the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Hartford Whalers, and the Calgary Flames. All throughout his career, he was able to play in 384 regular season games, made 19 goals and made 61 assists.

He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the 4th round (73rd overall) of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft.
