About Gilbert Perreault:
Gilbert Perreault (full name: Gilbert Perreault; no nicknames) played center from 1971 until 1987 for the Buffalo Sabres. He played for the Sabres from 1971 - 1987. Over 17 seasons, he played 1191 games, scored 512 goals, and made 814 assists. Born in Victoriaville, Quebec on November 13, 1950, Perreault stands 6-1 and weighs 180 lbs. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1st round (1st overall) of the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft. Perreault officially announced retirement on November 24, 1986. He was inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame as Player in 1990.
