Gibby Brack (full name: Gilbert Herman Brack; no nicknames) played outfielder and first baseman from 1937 until 1939 for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Dodgers from 1937 - 1938 and Phillies from 1938 - 1939. Over 3 seasons, he played 315 games, hit 16 home runs, drove in 150 runs, and stole 13 bases. Born on March 29, 1908 in Chicago, IL (All Transactions), Brack stood 5' 9" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 23, 1937 and he played his final game on September 28, 1939. Common misspellings of his name include Gilbert Gibby Herman Brack.
