Gerry Meehan (full name: Gerry Meehan; no nicknames) played center from 1969 until 1979 for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Philadelphia Flyers, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks, Atlanta Flames and Washington Capitals. He played for the Leafs in 1969, Flyers in 1969, Sabres from 1971 - 1975, Canucks in 1975, Flames from 1975 - 1976 and Capitals from 1976 - 1979. Over 10 seasons, he played 670 games, scored 180 goals, and made 243 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on September 3, 1946, Meehan stands 6-2 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 4th round (21st overall) of the 1963 NHL Amateur Draft.
