Gerald James Paddio is a former National Basketball Association player who was born on April 21, 1965 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He played collegiate basketball at two universities, the Kilgore College and the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. In UNLV, he played under Coach Jerry Tarkanian. He started his professional career in 1988 after the National Basketball Association Draft of 1988 wherein he was picked by the Boston Celtics in the third round; and Paddio became a 74th overall pick. His listed height is 6 ft. 7 in. and served as a forward-guard for five teams in the league. He spent three wonderful seasons in the National basketball Association and appeared from 1990 to 1994. He played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1990 to the 1991 seasons, and for the 1992 to 1993 seasons, he played for the Seattle Supersonics. He also became part of the Indiana Pacers from 1993 to 1994 and in 1994 also signed with the New York Knicks and the Washington Bullets.
