Gerald Diduck (full name: Gerald Diduck; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1985 until 2001 for the New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks, Hartford Whalers, Phoenix Coyotes, Toronto Maple Leafs and Dallas Stars. He played for the Islanders from 1985 - 1990, Canadies in 1991, Canucks from 1991 - 1995, Blackhawks in 1995, Whalers from 1996 - 1997, Coyotes from 1997 - 1999, Leafs in 2000 and Stars in 2001. Over 17 seasons, he played 932 games, scored 56 goals, and made 156 assists. Born in Edmonton, Alberta on April 6, 1965, Diduck stands 6-1 and weighs 216 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 1st round (16th overall) of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft.
