George Lombard (full name: George Paul Lombard; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1998 until 2006 for the Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Washington Nationals. He played for the Braves from 1998 - 2000, Tigers in 2002, Devil Rays in 2003 and Nationals in 2006. Over 6 seasons, he played 144 games, hit 8 home runs, drove in 55 runs, and stole 23 bases. Born on September 14, 1975 in Atlanta, GA, Lombard stands 6' 0" and weighs 208 lb. He attended Lovett School (Atlanta, GA) high school and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 2nd round of the 1994 amateur draft. His debut was on September 4, 1998 and he played his final game on October 1, 2006. Over his career, Lombard made $412,500.
