George Irvine (full name: George R. Irvine; Hawkeye) played Forward-Guard from 1971 until 1976 for the Virginia Squires and Denver Nuggets. Over 6 seasons, he played 325 games, scored 3093 points (9.5 ppg) and grabbed 959 rebounds (3.0 rpg). Irvine also dished out 428 assists (1.3 apg), made 60 steals (0.2 spg), and blocked 28 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Seattle, Washington on February 1, 1948, Irvine stands 6-6 and weighs 200 lbs. He attended high school at Ballard in Seattle, Washington and college at University of Washington. He was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 8th round (6th pick, 125th overall) of the 1970 NBA draft.
