George Connor (fullname: George Leo Connor; no nicknames) played Linebacker from 1950 until 1955 for the Chicago Bears. He played 90 games, intercepted 7 passes and recovered 10 fumbles. Born in Chicago, IL on January 21, 1925, Connor stands 6'3 and weighs 240 lbs. He attended college at Holy Cross, Notre Dame. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the 1st round (5th overall) of the 1946 NFL Draft. Connor was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1975, finalist in 1974.
