About George Blanda:
George Blanda (fullname: George Frederick Blanda; no nicknames) played from 1950 until 1975 for the Baltimore Colts, Chicago Bears, Houston Oilers and Oakland Raiders. He played 340 games, starting 109 of those. Born in Youngwood, PA on September 17, 1927, Blanda stands 6'2 and weighs 215 lbs. He attended college at Kentucky. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 12th round (119th overall) of the 1949 NFL Draft. Blanda was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1981.
