Over 13 seasons, he started 270 games, won 111 games, struck out 705 batters, and had a 3.74 ERA. Born on December 19, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, Zahn stands 6' 1" and weighs 180 lb. He attended DeVilbiss. Toledo (DeVilbiss. Toledo, OH) high school and was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 5th round of the 1968 amateur draft (January Secondary). Player signed February 15, 1968. His debut was on September 2, 1973 and he played his final game on August 14, 1985. Over his career, Zahn made $1,211,667.
