Geoff Sanderson (full name: Geoff Sanderson; no nicknames) played left wing from 1991 until 2008 for the Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes, Vancouver Canucks, Buffalo Sabres, Columbus Blue Jackets, Phoenix Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers and Edmonton Oilers. He played for the Whalers from 1991 - 1997, Hurricanes in 1998, Canucks from 1998 - 2004, Sabres from 1998 - 2000, Blue Jackets from 2001 - 2006, Coyotes in 2006, Flyers in 2007 and Oilers in 2008. Over 17 seasons, he played 1104 games, scored 355 goals, and made 345 assists. Born in Hay River, Northwest Territories on February 1, 1972, Sanderson stands 6-0 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the 2nd round (36th overall) of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
