About Gene Upshaw:
Gene Upshaw (fullname: Eugene Thurman Upshaw Jr.; no nicknames) played from 1967 until 1981 for the Oakland Raiders. He played 217 games, starting 207 of those. Born in Robstown, TX on August 15, 1945, Upshaw stands 6'5 and weighs 255 lbs. He attended college at Texas A&M-Kingsville. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 1st round (17th overall) of the 1967 NFL Draft. Upshaw was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987.
