About Gene Shue:
Gene Shue (full name: Eugene William Shue; Gene) played Guard from 1955 until 1964 for the Philadelphia Warriors, New York Knickerbockers, Fort Wayne Pistons, Detroit Pistons and Baltimore Bullets. Over 10 seasons, he played 699 games, scored 10068 points (14.4 ppg) and grabbed 2855 rebounds (4.1 rpg). Shue also dished out 2608 assists (3.7 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 18, 1931, Shue stands 6-2 and weighs 170 lbs. He attended high school at Catholic in Towson, Maryland and college at University of Maryland. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors in the 1st round (3rd pick, 3rd overall) of the 1954 NBA draft.
