Gene Guarilia (full name: Eugene Michael Guarilia; Gene) played Forward from 1960 until 1963 for the Boston Celtics. Over 4 seasons, he played 129 games, scored 413 points (3.2 ppg) and grabbed 294 rebounds (2.3 rpg). Guarilia also dished out 36 assists (0.3 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Duryea, Pennsylvania on September 13, 1937, Guarilia stands 6-5 and weighs 220 lbs. He attended high school at Holy Rosary in Duryea, Pennsylvania and college at George Washington University. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 2nd round (8th pick, 14th overall) of the 1959 NBA draft.
