Gee Walker (full name: Gerald Holmes Walker; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1931 until 1945 for the Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Tigers from 1931 - 1937, White Sox from 1938 - 1939, Senators in 1940, Indians in 1941 and Reds from 1942 - 1945. Over 15 seasons, he played 1784 games, hit 124 home runs, drove in 954 runs, and stole 223 bases. Born on March 19, 1908 in Gulfport, MS, Walker stood 5' 11" and weighed 188 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 14, 1931 and he played his final game on September 30, 1945. Common misspellings of his name include Gerald Gee Holmes Walker.
